Newly-announced as Principal Conductor of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra from the 19/20 season

Robert Trevino announced as Principal Conductor of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra as of the 19/20 season. Trevino will begin his role as Principal Conductor Designate in the fall of 2018, assuming the position in 19/20 for an initial contract of 2 years. The role will compliment his existing and continuing role as Music Director of the Basque National Orchestra in Spain, alongside his busy schedule of guest engagements with great orchestras and opera houses around the world.
